When I went to connect it to my computer you had to make some effort, create an account on steelseries itself and fill in a code that comes with it, I already had the engine since I use more products from steelseries, but if you don't you also have to download that, in the program you can adjust whether or not you want 7.1 surround etc. In the beginning I was very happy with the headset, when I put it on my head it felt super comfortable without pressure on your head and I did not expect that from a steelseries headset, I had seen it in other reviews but hadn't expected it to be so comfortable as steelseries sibreria wasn't that comfortable on your head at all.
